If you utilize cPanel on your virtual private server, sometimes you may get a license error, saying it is inactive.
You should first check if your server is licensed here: http://verify.cpanel.net
If this says active, however you still get the error, just run the command below to update your server. If it says inactive, please contact your license provider (most likely us), or purchase one if you have not already.
Command: /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
The output should be something similar to below (if license is active)
Updating cPanel license...Done. Update succeeded.
Building global cache for cpanel...Done
